Open Heart Kitchen is a non-profit meal service dedicated to providing nutritious prepared food to those in need, without qualification, in Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton. Through three programs, we address the hunger issues of children, seniors, families and individuals.
Working with a very small staff, Open Heart Kitchen succeeds because of the generous help of hundreds of volunteers every month.
We are currently serving about 3,500 meals every week.

There are 6,229 people living below the poverty line in Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton.* Given the high cost of living in our community, these families are struggling to pay for basic needs, like putting food on the table.
Open Heart Kitchen is the only non-profit prepared meal service addressing the hunger issues of these low-income community neighbors.
