Hello Volunteers!
On occasion, we find ourselves short of volunteers for one reason or another; flu, holiday, etc. We are looking for a select group of volunteers who can be placed on our on-call list.
The on-call volunteers are people who can be available on short notice.
Please title the subject line on your reply On Call List and email us at openheartcoordinator@yahoo.com wth the answers to the following:
- You are available to be called during normal business hours for last minute volunteer shortages, to help prepare and serve meals.
- You are available to help us deliver box lunches to local schools on Friday afternoons
- You are 21 or over
- You have a valid California driver’s license with a clean record
- You have reliable transportation to respond within a relatively short period of time.

- If you are available to work in the kitchens or as a driver. You must be 18 or over for kitchen work and 21 or over to be a driver.
