Weekend Box Lunch Program

Low-income children who receive free school lunches during the week may be left without a nutritious lunch on weekends, undermining their ability to focus and learn when the school week begins anew. To close this nutrition gap, Open Heart Kitchen distributes boxes containing two healthy lunches to elementary and middle school students of low-income families in Dublin and Livermore every Friday during the academic year.

We also distribute Weekend Box Lunch to low-income households at The Grove in Dublin Ranch.
