Ridgeview Commons Senior Meal Program:  

As part of a contract with the Area Agency on Aging, Open Heart Kitchen serves dinner for our community's senior citizens 62 years of age and older.  Meal service is from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday at Ridge View Commons, 5200 Case Avenue in Pleasanton. Residents and neighboring seniors are encouraged to enjoy dinner in the dining hall for a requested donation of $3.00 per person in advance or $3.50 at the door. Service includes a nutritious well-balanced "senior friendly" hot dinner and side dishes, and an all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar and free beverages. Entertainment is offered on a regular basis and teen volunteers deliver plated meals to the diners along with friendly smiles.
