

Step back in time and join Open Heart Kitchen for an unforgettable evening of 70s-inspired fun at the 2026 Heart of the Tri-Valley Gala! This annual fundraising event brings together community members, local businesses, and supporters for a night of dinner, live music, dancing, and inspiring stories. Guests will also have opportunities throughout the evening to participate in fundraising activities, including cocktail hour games and raffles, a live auction, and a Fund-a-Need paddle raise all in support of OHK’s mission to provide meals, shelter, and hope to our neighbors in need.
Whether you attend individually, with friends, as a full table of 10, or as part of a sponsorship group, your participation directly helps sustain critical services for thousands of Tri-Valley residents experiencing hunger and homelessness. Dust off your bell-bottoms and get ready for a groovy night with purpose!

Seated dinner service includes a starter course of salad (local baby greens with fuji apples, pepitas, sunflower seeds, and a champagne vinaigrette), freshly baked bread and butter, a dessert course (strawberries and cream cake), and one of the following entree courses which must be selected in advance:

Wine-braised short ribs with wild mushroom glacé, savory bread pudding, and roasted mirepoix, or

Pistachio-crusted Alaskan cod with lemon-herb butter, farro, and broccolini, or
-
Vegetarian & gluten-free black dahl with saffron basmati rice, raita, ghati, cilantro, jalapeno, green onion, and fried shallot (can be made Vegan with no raita)
A bottle of Chardonnay and Cabernet will be placed at each 10-person table. Additional beverages are available throughout the night at cash bars throughout the venue.
